Oftentimes it is easy to overlook the challenges mothers can face in the weeks and even months following birth. Combined with the need to care for your other children, adjust to life with a new baby, rest, and trying to enjoy the precious moments that only come with a new baby, mothers can feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and just plain exhausted. That is why we’re here!
Your postpartum doula is there to support you through this life transition, and to help you gain confidence, experience the joy of motherhood, and to better understand the emotional and physical needs of your body during this time with practical instruction and assistance. Because each birth and experience is unique, your doula will be there to support you and your particular needs as your postnatal helper and support.

WHAT DOES POSTPARTUM SUPPORT LOOK LIKE?
Your postpartum doula will provide you with:
- breastfeeding basics guidance and support.
- bottle sterilization and preparation.
- assistance with newborn care - diapering, bathing and soothing.
- assistance with baby wearing.
- information on diapering alternatives.
- herbal and homeopathic remedies.
- guidance and encouragement for instinctual parenting.
- help with light housekeeping duties and household organization
- nutritious meal preparation.
- sibling support.
- sleep support.
- resources and referrals.
INVESTMENT
- Daytime - $30/hr - 9am to 3pm
- Nighttime - $35/hr - 10pm to 6am
