MEET MARLO

I am dedicated to supporting, caring for, and educating women and their families throughout the childbearing year. I recognize pregnancy and childbirth as a spiritual experience that a woman and her family will remember for the rest of their life.  The services I offer focus on and nurture the needs of mom, her partner and the newborn.

I have served 500+ families over a 20 year span.  During that time I have attended home births and hospital births and have worked closely alongside midwives, family practitioners and obstetricians. I believe it is my calling to support and educate women and their families about their choices throughout the childbearing years. 

I am familiar with the facilities in the community, understand the benefits of social support systems, have an understanding of a variety of birth and parenting philosophies and am confident in addressing the needs of new families. I have learned to understand the natural process of birth and I deeply respect its spiritual, physical and emotional aspects. 

I am a mama to my beautiful daughter Abby - now grown up and on her own adventure.  I find comfort and joy in the simple things which include sunshine, fishing, hiking, beach days, yard sales, out of town guests, and road trips.  On my days off, you'll find me hiking in the woods (rain or shine) with my dog Journey Sorrel.  I strive each day to give my best to Jesus!
